Our folding knives

A folding knife is small and compact in design, which means that you can easily carry it in a pack, pocket or vest without it taking up much space. We have folding knives in various sizes and looks; some folding knives have handles with a traditional look, and others a more modern feel. Furthermore, they have different steel in the blade, different grind and with side plates in different materials. Here you can read about our various knives, so that you can better make a well-considered choice.

The blades on all of our folding knives are locked using Liner-lock, which ensures that the knife does not open unjustifiably, while it is easy to operate it with one hand. The knives are therefore very safe to use.

All the folding knives come with a hole for a string, which is perfect if you want to attach it to a rucksack or vest without the risk of losing it. In addition, all folding knives have a removable pocket clip.

The night

The "Natten" folding knife is our largest, most solid folding knife. It fits well in both small and large hands, and feels as solid as a regular customs knife when it is opened. This is the knife for those who use knives a lot; out on a trip or for practical tasks.

The knife blade has a Scandinavian cut, which means that the cut is short and flat at the same angle to the edge. The knife blade is made of brushed 12C27 Sandvik steel, hinged with ceramic ball bearings. This is Sandvik's most versatile knife steel, which is well suited for general utility knives. It is a somewhat stiffer steel with good durability and corrosion resistance, high hardness and extreme sharpness.

The side plates are in oiled Masur birch, which gives it an exclusive and pretty look. The night is made in our factory in Geilo, and it comes with a lifetime guarantee.

Lierne

The winch's handy design means that it fits well in the hand, while at the same time it takes up very little space in pockets and bags. It is also perfect as a spare knife on long trips. When closed, the knife has a length of only 11 cm; it has a compact design with a low weight of only 100 grams.

The knife blade has a full flat grind, which means that the grind starts from the back of the knife and goes all the way down to the edge in a straight line. The advantage of a flat sharpener is that the knife has very good cutting performance, the disadvantage is that it is slightly less strong. The thickness of the knife blade is 2.2 mm, which is the narrowest of our folding knives. This makes it, among other things, easier to nail, but the disadvantage is that the blade has to be sharpened a little more often.

The blade is in brushed stainless steel of the type 9Cr18MoV, hinged with ceramic ball bearings. This is a steel with a moderate carbon content, which is well suited for general utility knives. The knife has an elegant and stylish expression, with side plates in oiled olive wood.
